Native integration with the BlackBerry Enterprise Solution (BES)
Navita Mobile integrates naturally with the BES (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) and uses all its resources, especially the security features of BES. The BlackBerry applications built with Navita Mobile always integrate themselves with existing systems or applications (ERP, CRM, BI, Intranet, etc.). Since the BlackBerry devices communicate with the BlackBerry server through a secure channel (VPN 256-bit) and are always installed in the customer's local network, using all existing security features.
Native integration with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol)
The mobile applications can use the same resources of the LDAP server or the login server. For example, to access a BlackBerry application, the username and password required are the same as of the Windows network. Thus, we take advantage of all the access rules defined in the network, giving access permissions only to the specific profile.
User Management
If the client does not want to be integrated in the Windows Active Directory or another LDAP server, they can protect their mobile application via the features of the Navita Mobile User Management for BlackBerry.
